Attorney with Immigration Law Experience (Remote and Contract)

Latitude is seeking an experienced immigration lawyer to assist a New York-based immigration law firm on a completely remote basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with immigration law experience who is looking for a WFH or remote part-time position to supplement their own solo legal practice. The best candidates will have experience in both family-based immigration and business employment immigration matters. Requirements for the Attorney with Immigration Law Experience (Remote and Contract): • 5+ years of practice handling immigration matters, including immigration related hearings • Capable of working independently • Experience with both family-based immigration and business employment matters is a plus but it is not required. • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school. • Outstanding references • Active law license in any state and in good standing Position Details for the Attorney with Immigration Law Experience (Remote and Contract): • Type of Role: Contract • Schedule: As needed (up to 20 hours per week) • Start date: Immediate • Location: Remote (living in the New York area is a plus but it is not required) Compensation Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $175,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position). Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
