Associate Insurance Product Manager

We’re looking for a talented and curious Associate Insurance Product Manager who is eager to join us in creating the most loved Property insurance on the planet. As part of the Insurance Product team, you’ll have strong collaboration with our Actuarial, Insurance Operations, and Underwriting experts to ensure we profitably grow Lemonade’s Property line, crafting an experience that makes insurance fast, simple, and delightful. You will help drive forward our product roadmap, while monitoring and measuring the progress of key initiatives. In this role you’ll • Manage effectiveness of current product performance, monitoring results and recommending improvements and enhancements • Measure the impact of product changes to support learnings for the future • Gather product specification documents to identify project requirements • Research market trends and competitor actions and make relevant recommendations to profitably grow the homeowners business • Advance our countrywide pricing plans and homeowners strategy • Partner with actuarial and underwriting experts to work on the development of coverage, pricing adequacy and accuracy, and eligibility requirements • Collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval for new features—such as rate changes or product enhancements—and work closely with the Product team to implement them What you’ll need • 4+ years of P&C experience, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant personal lines experience (homeowners insurance strongly preferred) in product development, product management or state management • B.A. in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Insurance, or related field • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and taking action • Strong technical skills with SQL, Looker, or similar systems, including building dashboards or reports, preferred • Advanced arenaflex Office skills (including MS Word, Powerpoint, and Excel) • Ownership mentality, works quickly and efficiently to execute projects • Strategic thinker, willing to challenge the status quo and be open-minded to creative solutions • Superior organizational and project management capabilities, comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong collaborative spirit and exceptional written and verbal communication skills • At Lemonade we welcome candidates who are enthusiastic about learning and adapting to the exciting world of technology and AI, as a commitment to ongoing growth in this field it is a fundamental part of our culture • Ability to work remotely Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas Unfortunately we cannot consider applicants from the following states for this role: Colorado, California, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-107,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
