In this role, you will contribute your biological expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Specifically, you will help create high-quality data that will inform the future of AI innovation by designing and evaluating challenging biology problems grounded in advanced scientific reasoning. # You’re a good fit if you: - Hold a PhD in biological sciences (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, neuroscience, biochemistry) from a top 25 global university. - Are an experienced researcher, academic leader, or director-level scientist with extensive scholarly output. - Have a proven track record of complex scientific reasoning (e.g., authoring peer-reviewed research, leading grant-funded projects, designing experimental protocols). - Are currently engaged in advanced biological research or scientific leadership at a top institution. - Have strong writing and communication skills, particularly in producing rigorous, structured scientific evaluations. - Have experience designing rubrics or training materials for AI or data-driven projects (preferred but not required). # Here are more details about the role: - You will interface directly with prominent AI researchers from the lab. - The engagement is ongoing, starting immediately with rolling applications. - The project involves 10–20 hours of work per week with the potential to expand up to 40 hours per week. # Ideal candidates include: - Tenured or tenure-track biology professors at top research universities. - Senior researchers or directors at major scientific institutions or laboratories. - Scientists with extensive authorship in high-impact journals (e.g., Nature, Science, Cell). - Former or current AI/ML collaborators in biology-related model training or evaluation projects. # Screening Process: - You will need to complete a short interview and form, which will take a total of 20–30 minutes to fully apply. - Currently, we are only accepting applicants from the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
