Account Assistant Cum Admin - Bandar Baru Klang (Immediate Hiring)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle, including invoice verification, accurate processing, and timely execution of payments in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform bank reconciliations accurately and on a timely basis to ensure financial records are complete, up to date, and compliant with internal controls.
  • Prepare, review, and issue debit notes and credit notes in line with established accounting procedures.
  • Provide support for general accounting functions and daily administrative operations to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes.
  • Enter AP invoices, process driver commissions, and verify sales invoices with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare standard journal entries and support month-end closing activities, including bank reconciliations and related schedules.
  • Generate, compile, and maintain management reports to support internal review and informed decision-making.
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing as required.
  • Maintain well-organized office files, records, and documentation to facilitate efficient retrieval and ensure audit readiness.
  • Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and the preparation of financial and operational reports as needed.

Requirements

  • Preferably with prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting functions.
  • Candidates with more than one year of experience handling a full set of accounts will have an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
